Help for installing, checking, and removing locally saved case information.

Install or reload

For a local build, open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the Case Orbit folder. After an update, choose Reload on the extension card.

Refresh a case

Open Case Orbit and use the refresh button. Automatic checks are Off by default; you can opt into 6, 12, or 24 hours while Chrome is running.

Browser verification

If USCIS requests verification, open egov.uscis.gov in a normal tab and follow its instructions, then retry later. Case Orbit does not solve or bypass CAPTCHAs and preserves the last successful result.

Delete saved data

Expand a case and click Delete case twice to delete it. To delete all Case Orbit data, uninstall the extension from Chrome. The extension stores its data in chrome.storage.local.
